Permanant Hair Removal?

Does anyone know the best method for permanant body hair removal? Preferably sprays/lotions that are inexpensive and that can be applied by yourself.

Permanant Hair Removal?

The only permanent ways are electrolysis and lasering. Both are best applied by a professional or otherwise you could end up scarred, which is much worse than being a bit hairy!

Electrolysis.

No lotion or spray can remove hair PERMANENTLY.

You can only get permanent hair removal with lasers or electrolysis. If you wanted longer lasting removal that is not permanent you can wax, but I wouldn't recommend lotions, people usually have allergic reactions to them.

I also thought there was a article in the paper about a laser which could remove hair?

I don't think that any of the sprays or lotions are permanent, but they do slow growth. The only permanent method is laser treatment or electrolysis.

Permanant Hair Removal?

Sprays and lotions to not keep hair away permanently.

Lasers can do it, but they cost about $200 per session, and you might have to return 3 times or more if hair keeps coming back.

If it is facial hair, there is something called Vaniqa that your doc can prescribe, but if you don't have insurance, it can cost a LOT.

If it is leg hair...just shave it. Easy peasy.

There is no permanent treatment except for electrolysis. Waxing will keep the hair away for the longest period of time (3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth). And if you use it long enough (over a few years or so), the hair will not grow back. But it will take a very long time for that to happen.

the only way to remove hair permanently is laser.

it is expensive I'm afraid, but it will go away forever after a few sessions

wax it and then put duck tape on there and keep it on there for a few days and tear duck tape really fast and waaaa-laaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Permanant Hair Removal?

when you wax hair, eventually it damages the hair root/follicle(whatever it's called) and doesn't grow back....but that takes a long time. Waxing lasts a long time and the grow back isn't as rough as when you shave. Ive found that all those lotions/sprays that claim to remove your hair for several weeks are just bull. I think when it comes to this it would be "no pain, no gain!!" Good luck!

Permanant Hair Removal?

Electrolysis and/or laser treatment. The hairs may need treated more than once. Neither of which are DIY.

Permanant Hair Removal?

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Permanant Hair Removal?

Kalo hair minimiser has been around a long time and I use it to slow down hair growth and soften my facial hair, making it easier to shave daily. As far as permanent hair removal goes, it could take anywhere from 6-12 months of continuous use before major reduction in hair growth is witnessed.

Another alternative is the Rio laser hair removal kit. If you have been looking for a permanent solution to hair removal / hair growth reduction, the Rio Laser is the closest home based product to meet those requirements. It's also a lot cheaper than salon treatments. A couple of caveats though, it cannot be used on dark skin and due to its size is only suitable for treating small areas at a time.
