Help curley hair gets hard help pleas!?

try LOREAL's UPRIGHT Spray !

also try http://www.curlyhair.com or haircurls.com

Help curley hair gets hard help pleas!?

yea the sprunch spray really does harden your hair. get the mouse, i prefer the kind that prays, that way you spray it on your roots, then come your hair to distribute it all over then you can scrunch it. i use loreal's upright spray, it gives you more volume and lets you scrunch your hair.

Ok... about my hair...?

ok i have very thick, curly red (natural, not dyed) hair. i have a really bad straightener (recomend a good one plz!) but when it is straight and i put this Tresseme Humidity Cream stuff (thats not the exact title) but once i spray it on, my hair curls back up again! i mean, if my hair touches practically any liquid, it cursls and frizzes. i need something to help my hair when it is humid, but i cant seem to find anything that will work. plz help me. i want my hair to look sleek and straight but idk wat to do!?

Ok... about my hair...?

Well what I recommend is you buy a conair straitener not the cheap kind, its not that expensive, my cuz has hair like yours but hers is so much worse and she used a conair straitener and it works, she didnt use any hair products like gel.

Ok... about my hair...?

I would suggest that you just plastic wrap your hair as soon as you are done straightening it and that way no liquid can get to it and it will stay nice. Yes, you make look somewhat comical, but it will definately work.

Ok... about my hair...?

get a flatiron and fix your hair using that and see if that might help.

Ok... about my hair...?

get a RED and BLACK straightner from the salon. if its not red and black, make sure its black (on the outside) because those are the powerful ones. if its expensive and at a salon, buy it. and try garnier sleek and shine products. it works good.

Ok... about my hair...?

If you're that worried about you're hair, all you really have to do is find you're best shampoo/conditioner, try to streighten your hair. If that does'nt work, just start to put your hair up in pony tails/ bunns.

Ok... about my hair...?

um try garnier frutis...they have everything and i remember seeing a comercial about stuff about frizzy hair as soon as moisture....um but sorry i dont remember what its called

best of luck

Ok... about my hair...?

maybe it is best to get a perm if you want straight sleek hair.

Ok... about my hair...?

buy a CHI straightener. the one with the red fuzzy stuff on the outside. i think its called a turbo. it'll put you back about $120 but its the best straightener i have ever had and my hair stays straight all day long.

i cant really help with the humidity problem, because its not really humid where i live.

you could try getting your hair japanese straightened, it costs around $200 but your hair will stay perfect without any maintence. if you are considering any type of straightening do the japanese one, not the chemical because that only works for about 2 weeks.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

A couple years ago my hair was the prettiest naturally straight hair I never even had to straighten,it already looked straightened by prettier and shinier. I wanted to know what it would look like curly which I couldnt do cause it was so straight so I went to the hair salon. I didnt get a perm,or anything permanant, she just used like moose and spray and stuff. My hair was pretty, and when I got home, I wanted to go swimming so bad. finally after a while, I thought it wouldnt mess up my hair and I could fix it later, cause family was over and I didnt wanna be left out. After I got done swimming and my hair dryed my hair turned really puffy/frizzy somewhat wavy and it was so ugly. I thought it would go back to my natural hair after I tried washing it,but it didnt. Ever sience after that I have this ugly hair from that. I straighten it and it looks pretty straightened but its really fried from my straightening it. I was gonna get it chemicly straightened by that will fri it even more. HELP!

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

if you have to do something to get it straight, then it wont be natural.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

there's no way to get your hair "naturally" straight without being born with it.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Keep your hair molded into one position that you like and leave it there for a 24 hours.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Naturaly. No. What is Your Hair Now? I always get out of the shower, and keep Brushing it Straight until it dries. Or blow dry it straight.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

mosturizing shampoo and conditioner and heat protectant should help.

that totaly sux. hope i helped and good luck

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

let your hair grow naturally and stop using those chemicals

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Wash your hair in mid afternoon, never at night. Brush it vigorously beforehand.

Apply shampoo on top and rinse downwards.

Use conditioner in moderation.

Brush your hair while still in the shower, with a solid plastic brush.

After you have gotten all of your conditioner out, rinse hair in cold water.

Put a towel around your shoulders and let your hair hang loose.

Dry downwards, starting at the back and working forwards.

Dry all except the tips; this will weigh down the hair and when it finally dries, will keep it straighter

Tie up your hair for 10-15 minutes after washing it.

Leave loose and enjoy! 閳?

I am sure it will help you... Have a beautiful day ahead...

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Was this like last week?,. Wait till all the hair on your head has been replaced by all the hair that has not left your head as of yet, and it should be just "fine and dandy", hehe,. I love george carlin

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Go back to a good salon and have them blow dry and press your hair. No chemicals needed. Do not try to do it yourself at home because you could damage it more.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

well go to the salon and tell hem you got you hair done and you hair is frizzy and ask why its dong that and the can perm it strait and it looks pretty natural ive donr it before..... so it really wont do any thing bad just dont keep on doing it...it can make you hair dried out!

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

there is a chemical relaxer, most black woman or people with very coarse hair will get it done. but also they have a vertical relaxer, which is for not so coarse hair. i got it done because i just had poofy frizzy hair naturally if i didnt straighten it. it is really good, id say its no worse than coloring your hair. but i do suggest that you get your hair deep conditioned a couple times before going but only deep condition once every few days or once a week for like 3 weeks and then go and remember its called a vertical relaxer, cuz if you get a chemical relaxer and your hair is not coarse enough, then it will be bad, but after i got my vertical relaxer it was nice and smooth and naturally (well not quite natural) straight

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

no, don't think so. You could just try different hair products see if any work. You could use products for frizzy hair and products like that

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Try a relaxer. It'll take awhile, but it'll make it straight.

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

Just wondering? i usually never use products (other than a good shampoo, conditionar, and straightening serum)

but now i'm trying out new stuff, like this spray wax....well, being the first time i've ever used it, i overdid it. so now here i am typing, with way to much spray wax in my hair.....its got a somewhat-sticky texture to it.

anyways, this just lead me to think

"Hm......do most ppl, who use alot of products (4 or more) usually have kinda sticky hair by the time they finish applying all the products?????"

well,i guess......do they? or do YOU???

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

I don't use more than 4 products regularly but when I do my hair definitely feels sticky...I was doing a photo shoot and I had 4 different styles done by 3 different stylists. Mousse, gel, hairspray, straightening serum, shampoo, conditioner, and hair thinner WERE ALL USED, especially because I have long, thick frizzy hair. But, once I take a shower it all comes out.

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

I use the wax occasionally and at first it was sticky ....i just tried using different amounts ......try applying it to your fingers and just dab it through your hair ..its suppose to make it hold and look piecey ..so maybe try it again just use a different technique and a little less product..

Hope this was helpful

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

No, just depends on the product. Any kind of wax, gel, or pomade can make your hair sticky. But spray wax is the ultimate worst as far as it being sticky.

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

depends on which products and how much you're using. If you're new to the product game just keep experimenting with types and amounts of products till you find what works for you. Or ask your stylist, they'll show you exactly what and how much they're using and why, but sometimes you've gotta ask.

Can I put temporary hair color over my permanent highlights?

For Halloween I'm going to be a goth/punk rocker (sorry for labelling, lack of better words). I'm going to spray streaks of temporary hair color in my hair that washes out in the shower.. but i already have permanent non-bleach highlights. When I wash the temporary streaks out, will my permanent streaks that I sprayed on top of fade, change color or be stripped out? If it's not a good idea to put the color in, do you have suggestions of punk hairstyles where i do not have to damage my hair?

Thanks!

Can I put temporary hair color over my permanent highlights?

i don't think thats such a good idea! i say it'ld be best if you well i don't know! you should either stay with your natural color or go with the temporary and then put fake highlights over that!

Can I put temporary hair color over my permanent highlights?

Well, i have not dyed my hair, but i do do a lot of reading beauty magazines, and if you bought the product to make it temporarily last a few hours, it will all wash out when you take a shower and no damage will be done.

Can I put temporary hair color over my permanent highlights?

Tt shouldn't strip your highlights. Wash out sprays are made to wash out of your hair without damaging your hair or perminant colours in your hair. If you really are worried though perhaps wear a wig???

Legs...hair removal???

my legs get irritated when waxing and shaving. I've been using veet and that doesn't irritate that much but it doesn't keep the hair gone very long, I'll shave at night then my hair will be growing back the next day. I was wondering if anyone has used sally hansen's spray-on shower-off hair remover. if you have then does it work and how long does it keep hair away for?

Legs...hair removal???

Wow, I've used Sally Hansen's Spray-On, Shower Off hair remover, and I love it! I was using this product ( I still like it ) called Nads- it's in a gel - and you smooth it on your legs and then use one of their cloths they provide, press down and rip the cloth off, and you have smooth, hairless legs. But I've had even better luck with the Sally Hansen product! (I didn't even know this was possible!) It keeps the hair growth on your legs away for about three to four days! I was amazed that it was actually better than Nads. Try it! I was so surprised and happy with my results! Good luck!

Legs...hair removal???

I would use Nair it is the best cause you do not ever get a cut or anything that you might get with shaving I hope this helps I aslo recommend the Nair Facial remover too and your hair doesn't grow back to fast.

Legs...hair removal???

I've used it , and it's crap. Be sure when you shave to use shaving cream and a good razor. Hopefully that'll make your legs stay smooth for 3-4 days. Good Luck!!

Legs...hair removal???

Well i have never tried it but have you ever used moisturizer on your legs? I mean like night regenerating (sp?) ones..

I use nivea night cream and it stops my legs from being irritated and surprisingly also to keep the hairs from growing back so fast! (gasp yes i know.. strange)

But also don't use Vett use Venus gel one, it has different types for sensitive skin, i think you should try it =]

I need help for my unruly african american hair!!!!?

My hair is just past my boobs, and is very kinky, and curly. It tends to get poofy sometimes (afro). It is dark. I like to straighten my hair, and I need a spray, or cream to put on my hair dry, to protect it from heat. I need a good shampoo, and condtioner to help straighten it, and keep nutrients in it. I heard sunsilk hairapy is good. Last of all I need a cream, or spray to keep my hair in place. So that when i get in to the pool, my hair does not turn into a poof ball. Probably someting I can put on my hair while it is dry. I am on a budget, so it should not be to much

I need help for my unruly african american hair!!!!?

For straightening hair I suggest either a ceramic straightening iron, a good blow dryer, or a combo of the two. But with all this heat you'll need something to protect your hair, I suggest a good hair grease (such as blue magic, parnevu, etc), as hair grease tends to protect against heat more than creams do. But if you prefer a cream, try pink lusters oil moisturizer, it keeps hair moisturized very well and protects very well against heat. A really good shampoo is pantene's relaxed and natural, it make the hair feel straighter after washing and the matching conditioner is thick, creamy and smooth. Now as for something to keep your hair in place during the day while it is dry, there are creams and pomades specific for African American hair to keep it in place, just use a dab, not a whole lot because your hair will become a greasy mess. Now for the creams for the pool, sorry to tell ya but none exist, if someone says that they do exist, they're lying. Black hair and pools just do not mix very well. My hair turns into a poof after my hair dries from swimming and I have a relaxer. The thicker more coarse black hair tends to absorb more water and moister than most other types of hair, making it prone to poofing. I suggest not putting anything into your hair right before going swimming because it will run out of your hair and into your face and the water and may cause breakouts along your hairline. As for money, try the dollar stores (family or general), they tend to have hair products geared toward Afro-American hair and is probably the cheapest place you can get hair products. Good Luck.

I need help for my unruly african american hair!!!!?

NOOOO sunsilk is a nono for african american hair. try using africas best shampoo and conditor, that works good and for cream u can use any thing that conditions good.

although u could use sunsilk conditioner, its ok, but anything else with sunsilk, no, it leaves your hair dry and brittle, so it break easily.

jennifer aniston straightenes her hair, but she doesnt have these fly-away hairs like i do. lots of girls have nice smooth, fly-away-free hair...im sooo jelous. SO PLEASE HELP ME!! XX

Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

yeah i have the same problem, i put like a reeeeele tiny bit of conditioner on my hair afterwards, and then i brush my hair forward and get rid of the parting, then brush it back to normal and the frizz is gone =D

Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

hair wax. use it in moderation, but it should take away the fly aways!

Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

i have used john frieda's frizz ease hair serum every day for about 18 years....you can get it any drug store from about 7-10$

you can also use the whole entire frizz ease hair care line (again at any drug store), i swear by it!!!!! i have naturally curly/frizzy hair that i straighten almost everyday...you can tell a big diffrence by using a small amount of that serum.

Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

There are many products which can help with your problem. I would recommend either wax or frizz control cream. When using these put some on the tip of your fingers and rub them together, this is to ensure only a small amount is on each finger, then run your fingers through your hair and across the top to flatten any frizzy bits. This way you use it in moderation and so your hair doesn't go greasy.

Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

Any type of serum would help, I like Paul Mitchells Super Skinny.

Major HAir problems?!?

Here's what i do now:

i swim about 5 days a week and an hour or so after pratices i use herbal essance hydrating shampoo, then after the shower i use sunsilk umph creme for volume.

i have very oily hair so i usualy use herbal essance clarifying smapoo and baby powder.

I have annoying curls around my bangs so i use john freedman spray and sometimes a hair straightener.

I have very thin almost invisable hair because of swimming so i use sunsilk umph shampoo or loreal kids volumizing shamoo and sunslik creme.

My hair is very blonde from swimming and the sun, but my eyebrows are black so it looks weird. Should i get it dyed?

All this, and my hair is still very thin and curls. it also just looks bad alot.

THANK YOU!

Major HAir problems?!?

wow, you and i have the same problem. This is how to solve it:

all the product is damaging so lay off the stuff.

use a better shampoo to get rid of the oiliness...that can lead to weak, thin, bad hair. neutragena is good.

oh...I cant stand the weird curly thingy at the front. I have it too. I iron it out every morning.

for that blonde and dark thing you got there....try a temporary dye maybe.

Major HAir problems?!?

i would die your eyebrows.

maybe be careful about how much time you spend in the sun.

Major HAir problems?!?

you use way too many hair products, that's WATS ruining your hair! just use loreal kids swimming shampoo and conditioner. if your a guy don't use herbal essences that's weird, i am starting to thing this question is a joke because you use so many products! your brows r normal i no alot of people like that, it looks normal 2 me

Major HAir problems?!?

With as damaged as your hair is from swimming constantly, I wouldn't suggest dying your hair. To cut down on the chlorine damage you should either put conditioner in your hair before you swim or immediately rinse your hair out after you swim, oh and clarify your hair once a week.

Major HAir problems?!?

If you dye your hair, the chlorine might make some of your hair fall out. If you go to the salon they can recommend conditioner to use before swimming so it doesn't ruin hair after you are done swimming.

Advice about hair removal products?

im a girl, if that helps. basically for removing hair on legs...how long does nair usually last for...do the bladeless razors work well/last long, and has anyone used the sally hansen spray on shower off hair remover/ ..i heard you jst spray it on and then it removes hair in the shower..thanks.

Advice about hair removal products?

Nair usually works for a few days before it starts growing back. I like veet, its more gentle than nair.

Advice about hair removal products?

don't use hair removal stuff...it causes really bad rashes especially nairs...y don't u try waxing., Waxing the legs is not the most painful area but it lasts for a long time!

Advice about hair removal products?

veet is very good

Advice about hair removal products?

Wax Hair Remover is expensive, it hurts and your hair would turn black, try to use manual facial hair remover for face, or body hair remover sponge, that's easy and cheap, have a look here at

Why does my hair part all over?

I've got natural curly hair. Everytime I comb my hair back to get the "Pompadour" hair style, my hair messes up and parts on both sides of my head. Why?

I wash my hair every day. I don't put gels or sprays in my hair, but I always put a dab of Brylcreem. (I'm Rockabilly)

Why does my hair part all over?

They are called cowlicks.

The difficult thing about cowlicks is that this is the way the hair grows, so no matter what you do, it will only be a 閳ユ涪emporary閳?solution. Unfortunately, there is nothing to make them 閳ユ笀o away閳? You can only manage them, and find a stylist who can help you create a style to make them work to your advantage (or at least minimize the detriment).

Why does my hair part all over?

If you used to part your hair in those places all the time, then that's why. If you part your hair in one place so many times, your hair is used to being parted that way, so it always parts that way if you don't force it.

There used to be something called Beach Blonde in a blue bottle which was a sea salt texturizing spray. Also, Garnier used to make something called surf hair which was a similar product. Unfortunately, they are both discontinued. But, now I just make my own. All you need is a spray bottle, warm water and sea salt. Mix it and then spray on your hair. It give it that wavy look that is a little messy. I usually wait a few minutes for it to dry some and then I spray some of the Garnier hairspray to finish the style. I hope this helps you!

I'

Hair... waves?

umm.. i have seen that some people say to make your hair wavy to fill a spray bottle with water and add salt. then spray it in your hair. do you just use idoized table salt?? umm after you spray it in do you not bother it and just let it dry, or do you scrunch it?

Hair... waves?

hmm.. I've never heard of that one. You can take a shower and then leave it wet and put it in braids before you go to sleep and in the morning you can take the braids out and your hair will be wavy, or you can buy one of those tool type things, its like a straightening iron but instead of the flat plate it has a wavy one and that would work. They have those everywhere and you could probably find one cheap too

Hope I helped. If this was not the answer you were looking for, then try experiementing with that.

Hair... waves?

i never heard of that but try gel and water

Hair... waves?

i think you use sea salt.

and scrunch your hair (if its straight) to help get more waves

if its curly, i would just not bother to scrunch it =]

Hair... waves?

I've heard of that also and I've tried doing that with iodized table salt but it didnt seem to work on my hair. you could try if you want but the salt actually damages ur hair more than other products.

Hair... waves?

3 parts water

1 part salt (iodized table salt or epsom salt will do)

1 part chlorox bleach (only clorox will work because the formula won't damage your hair)

mix and apply to hair using a spray bottle until the hair is damp

brush through immediately, then scrunch and let air dry

Black hair for a few days???

My hair is naturally a medium brown color(think Anne Hathaway color to a bit lighter in summer). I've dyed my hair about six times, and I always get bored with it after a week or so. I've tried the Kool-Aid treatment[koolaid%26amp;%26amp;conditioner], and I've used temporary[14 wash] dyes. I really want a black or purple color, but I don't want it to last more than a week. Is there a way to get this besides spray in? Spray in clogs my hair and makes it very oily. Thanks a lot if you can help! {PS- yes I've had black before. It was 14 wash, and was completely gone in three days. after two washes. go figure. the purple lingered for six months though, with the same dye.}

Black hair for a few days???

they have gels at walmart...in natural or unatural colors. it washes out when you wash your hair;)

Black hair for a few days???

you can try Manic Panic Dyehard. you can get it at sally beauty stores

How to use heat defence spray?

i just spray it on my hair and and then use the straightener or wait a few sec. for my hair to dry?cuz after a spray it on my hair its a little wett...

..thanks..

How to use heat defence spray?

NEVER, EVER use a flat iron on WET hair. It's very bad for your hair and can cause breakage and frizz.

Heat defense spray is fine if you are going to blow dry first. Make sure your hair is completely dry before those irons hit it. Personally I do not like the sprays that the salons try to get you to buy because they have alcohol in them that dries out your hair along with the heat of the iron. (I once had a stylist tell me that alcohol "evaporates" in the air before it hits your head so I could use anything with alcohol in it. Yeah, right)

I have used BioSilk by Farouk or Citre Shine Anti Frizz Serum with UV Filter for years and swear by this stuff. Both products looks like a bottle of baby oil, and you use a few drops and spread it through your hair before you style. BioSilk has some alcohol in it but it detangles like mad which is great before you flat iron. Citre Shine has no alcohol, a UV filter, and I use it in the shower when my hair is still sopping wet and run it through. I have completely straight blonde hair and it NEVER tangles with this stuff (either one) and looks great if I run irons through it too. I also have friends with super curly afro hair that use these too and love it.

How to use heat defence spray?

Its best used on washed blowed dried hair. Wash your hair towel dry spray on your heat defense then blow dry then style your hair with your flat iron or whatever straightning method you use

How to use heat defence spray?

blow dry ur hair, spritz a little of that heat-defence spray evenly on ur hair, brush it and then use the straightener...

How to use heat defence spray?

i dont know i bought heat defense spray from alboni 2 days ago. and i sprayed it on my hair right before flat irioning and it didnt work very well. my hair was dry and when i put the stuff in it reacted just like it would if my hair were wet. so it basically just got all frizzy and ugly. so dont do that :P

Does wet hair or dry hair hold perfume better?

I spray perfume in my hair everyday, but I was wondering if spraying it on wet hair would make the smell last longer then spraying it on dry hair?

Does wet hair or dry hair hold perfume better?

The chemicals in perfume are actually proven to dry out your hair. Try a scented hair mist instead, such as Wonderfleur Hair and Body Mist by meet mark. If you'd rather smell like the perfume you've been using, spray it on your clothes and/or pulse points instead (pulse points are wrists and behind each ear, your body heat will make the scent stronger) so you don't dry out your hair and cause breakage. Try using your perfume's matching body wash (if they make one) to give the scent more oomph. Hope that helps!

Does wet hair or dry hair hold perfume better?

I actually spray my perfume into my hair dryer while I am drying my hair. I guess it gets both...lol

Does wet hair or dry hair hold perfume better?

I would think applying it on the dry hair would be better. It seems like drying, styling products and styling tools would make the scent fade. I don't spray it in my hair. I usually apply it right at the base of skull into my hairline because thats where it gets warm.

Does wet hair or dry hair hold perfume better?

ummm..... y spray perfume in your hair?

if you need to that means you probably need to wash it.

but I figure the sent would be stronger if you spray it on dry hair...

How can i change hair color to gray? it's for a performance.?

i'm doing this for a short film that i'm producing and i need to know if there is a way to color someone's hair gray using some kind of spray. i remember when i was in this 4th grade play and this teacher sprayed something on this kid's hair and hours later, it was gray. also in halloween like 10 years ago, i used a similar spray to change my hair color to green. where can i find these sprays if they exist? if not, are there other techniques or products i could use to accomplish this task without having the gray hair stay for a long period of time? feel free spill out every alternative.

Baby powder works very well. You can also go to any beauty supply store, or costume shop and buy the spray on hair color. It usually washes right out.

you go to WalMart or any drug store and buy washable non-permanent hair dye that you wash out and there are many colors to choose from and there is gray

Hair color, or highlights...im confused.?

Ok so I want to get a redish blondish color for my hair, the thing is i dont want all my hair that color, I really just want one pin stripe streak in my hair. But I dont know whether to get the normal hair color, or something to do highlights, I looked for a highlight thing but all they had was blonde and brown highlighters. But I also bought me some of that lemon spray thats lightens your hair when you go outside. Do you think it would be a good idea to do the pin stripe thing if that lemon spray is gonna bring out some highlights in my hair???

Idk im so confused.

Hair color, or highlights...im confused.?

Highlight would stand out if you give it a nature look [like if you're blone, highlighted hazel nut brown] but if you want it kinda reddish blone, try strawberry blone highlight.

Good luck[=

-qd.

Hair color, or highlights...im confused.?

well that lemon spray is not going to give you the color highlights you want the only thing lemon spray does is lighten it up so i would suggest putting the color highlights you want in and leave the lemon spray a lone it also drys your hair out that lemon spray does it has a lot of alcohol in it

Spray and gel??

Is spray bad for your hair??and another question..is gel bad for your hair..i hear you loose your hair if you use gel..i just wanna know ??

Spray and gel??

no gel is healthy for your hair it got protein.depend on what style you want spray to keep the style that you have in place gel can give you spike or wet look or keep your curl in place.

Spray and gel??

I dont think they are that good for the hair. hairspray and gl can lave the hair feeling sticky, so when you try and brush through the hair, it is very stiff and you can end up breaking the hair.

these sort of hair products weaken the hair by making it all stiff and hardened, so in answer to your question, i dont think they are that good for your hair, but if you use them very occasionally instead of everyday, it may not be a problem.

Spray and gel??

I have curly hair and i use gel all the time. I have never known gel to be bad for your hair. I still have my hair, in fact I get complements how healthy my hair looks like! As for spray, I have not heard nothing on that either. Hope this helps! :)

Blonde hair please help me!!!!?

i have naturally blonde hair.. and when i was younger i wore my hair up and it turned brown on the bottom or just a dark blonde.. and i was wondering if i were to spray lemon on my hair when i go to hawaii will it turn blonde again.. and will it keep on growing out blonde.. plus i just started wearing my hair down for a couple of months now and its getting lighter does that mean if i stay in the sun a lot in hawaii that it will turn blonde again.. and when i tan i was think like if im on my tummy i should seperate the hair so all of it get blonde and do u think it will worlk.. .and if u spray the lemon in it will grow out to blonde again... plus i still have blonde hairs the one that were exppsed to the sun thos are still blonde like really blonde will my hair turn that color again?

thanks..

Blonde hair please help me!!!!?

How you wear or fix your hair will not affect the color. Whatever color it is growing out as now, it will continue to grow in at that color (it won't grow in blonde if you bleach the hair you have now blonde). The sun does lighten up your hair (well, some shades anyway). My hair was really light blonde when I was younger. It is still "blonde", but much darker. But in the summer, the sun and chlorine naturally bleaches it out. What grows in even looks darker next to the bleached out blonde. Spraying lemon juice on it and then sitting in the sun will speed up the lightening process, but very slightly. Maybe barely a shade. You can get "Sun-In" (or other generic brands) at a drug store. It's about $6??? That does the same as lemon juice, but it will lighten it many more shades than the lemon juice would. Spray it on, let it dry in the sun, and just keep doing that until you get the shade you want. The lighter your hair is naturally, the lighter it will get from the spray. Also, if you want the back or underneath, you will have to part it (or something). The only part that will lighten is what is exposed to the sunlight. It is a pretty subtle change compared to getting it done at a salon. You can also spray your hair with Sun-In and blow dry it for a similar effect. Although, beware...I once sprayed a whole bottle on in junior high, dried it with a hair dryer, and it was lighter all over, but kind of yellow!

Blonde hair please help me!!!!?

Hawaii lightens hair SO much. I lived there for 6 years and i have dark brown hair and my hair was naturally blonde from the sun.. lemon and sun would work great!

Blonde hair please help me!!!!?

I do not thinl if you spray lemon juice it will grow out blone but I do think if you stay in the sun in Hawaii it will turn blone again.

Spraying a tiny bit of peroxide in hair to make it blonde?

if i sprayed a bit of peroxide into my hair ( small amount) and stayed out in the sun, will it make my hair blonde and will it damage my hair sagnificantly?

Also would you recomend this or spraying lemon juice and staying in the sun.

My hair is DIRTY blondeso will the peroxide take affect and turn into a lighter blonde?

Spraying a tiny bit of peroxide in hair to make it blonde?

I'm warning you, it'll turn green...

Spraying a tiny bit of peroxide in hair to make it blonde?

I've always heard peroxide works, but I can only imagine it damaging your hair, lemon juice has a minor effect, so try that first.

Spraying a tiny bit of peroxide in hair to make it blonde?

PLZ!DON'T DO IT!!! It'll turn ur hair orange

Spraying a tiny bit of peroxide in hair to make it blonde?

Don't do it. If it doesn't turn your hair orange, it'll make it look white trash yellow.

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

i have soft curly hair but i m havin severe hair fall which makes my pony tail look worst n cannot ever think to leave loose...

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

use curd in your hair. to do that wash your hair. next day apply curd to your hair, let it dry and then wash hair. remember, first wash of curd with water, then double shampoo. to avoid hair fall use good hair lotion like livon before combing wet hair but use in low quality. avoid chemicals on hair as much as possible.

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

you should take a little bit of your hair, on like the upper back, grab a brush and go up and down and tease your hair. Report It

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

Get a volumizing mousse and hair dryer. It does wonders. Don't be afraid to play with the hair, tease it while you blow dry. Good luck.

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

Add some length, a little width, and a lot of height.

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

the only thing you can do without sprays is either teasing it (which does some damage to the hair), use a curling iron and do a bump, or hair drying and blow a bump or blow dry it upside down

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

try a volumizing shampoo. or mousse it works well.

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

I have heard of celebrities applying and massaging baby powder into their scalp. This technique helps with absorbing oils that make your hair flat and adds volume to your hair.

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

tease ur hair.. back combing it with a fine tooth comb.

How could i raise volume to my hair without using chemical sprays.?

Hair Serum..?

Hi,

I wash my hair with Elive smooth intense, put frizz-ease straightening spray and Frizz-ease hair serum on my hair then blow dry it downwards and straight.

Then about 3 hours later I go to bed, wake up and have curly hair then I straighten it and walk to school, by the time I get to school its curly and frizzy.

Can you recomend a hairspray for my hair and how would you go about using it? (ie: spray before straightening?)

And can you use Frizz-ease hair serum on dry hair before straightening it or will it make it go greasy?

Thanks x

Hair Serum..?

Have you got it trimmed for the past 2 weeks?

Because having un-cut hair makes the weight pile on causing your hair to go frizzy and curly

Get a haircut, a trim or whatever

Then use the same product you use now

They're fantastic tools

Buy abit of ultra hold hairspray and spray abit over your hair after its dry and straightened

Dont spray too much, do a little spriz

Then it will keep the frizz down for a day or so

=]]

Hair Serum..?

dry your hair the night before +don't bother with any serums etc. straighten it as usual following morning and then rub a small amount of serum into palms of your hands and smooth over your hair once its dry + straight. this should stop any moisture getting into it. no point putting it on before you straighten it though.

Hair Serum..?

Ok, the brand that works best for me is ICON. It's a bit expensive (a bit cheaper than Kerastase) but definitely worth it. First, I use a hair mascara that I try to leave in for at least an hour. After washing my hair I dry it a bit with a towel and then put a bit of mascara in my hands and extend it through every lock. After rising my hair again, I dry again with the towel and put some serum in it (I recommend ICON, Kerastase or Revlon), especially in the tips. I then dry it with a round hairbrush and then put a little bit of serum and shinning spray (doesn't make the hair greasy but leaves it very shinny. Again, I love Revlon or ICON). Good luck!

Hair Serum..?

if u use a little u should have no problems!

good luck

It's easier to have shiny hair using silicons and spray lotions. Also conditioners and moisturizers help. Be aware that the conditioners and moistureizers have a ph balance of 4.5 to 5.5, which is usually the ph of your skin.

Would you like to have shiny hair?

Yes I would! That is why I rinse it with vinegar. Thanks for the tips!!

http://www.care2.com/greenliving/shiny-h...

I'm sure you閳ユ獫e seen on TV the Pantene commercial where the hair shines like a mirror. I don't know why other hair commercials don't do the same thing with all that shine.

I do like the Pantene shampoo because there is silk in it.

For one thing, what I learned going to cosmetology school is that you need to shampoo your hair 2 times to get the crap out of your hair. The first time you shampoo your hair, you bring the dirt up to the surface, and the 2nd time you shampoo, you get all the residual dirt out of your hair. The second time you shampoo your hair, just use a dime size amount.

Now that you shampooed your hair, you can use a conditioner, especially if it has silk in it.

The biggest secret to shiny hair is to use either lemon juice or apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle to get your hair back to its natural ph and closes the cuticle. When the cuticle is closed that閳ユ獨 when you hair is shiny.

Make sure you use a natural bristle brush or comb and always comb in the direction the hair falls, which is down.

If you want to use a light mousse, that's fine but after you comb it, just leave it alone and let it dry naturally.

Now if you blow dry your hair, again, blow dry it in a downward motion. This allows the cuticle to stick together naturally. Then your hair will reflect light. If you blow your hair against the natural direction, your hair will not be shiny. You can also use Infusium Leave In Conditioner to protect your hair. Infusium will untangle any knots.

If you use a curling iron, use one of those ceramic curling irons--the professional ones. It can make your hair extremely shiny because again you are using the iron in a downward direction. It is good if you can use Infusium Leave-in spray conditioner to protect the hair.

These are simple techniques to get the most shine out of your hair.

How can I get rid of this smell in my hair? A skunk sprayed me!?

You know tomato juice is really good, but V8 works even better. Our dog got sprayed bad recently and all we had was V8 and it got rid of skunk almost totally. Tomato juice cuts it down but something in the V8 works better. Take this from some one who has had to deal with skunks on dogs on numerous occasions. Good luck...

Exactly why were you sticking your head in a skunks tush?

How can I get rid of this smell in my hair? A skunk sprayed me!?

wash it with tomato juice. . . tomato helps get rid of skunk smell. . . we had a cat that was sprayed by a skunk once and we washed the cat in tomato juice and it helped tremendously. . .you may need to wash it in tomato juice a couple of times though

How can I get rid of this smell in my hair? A skunk sprayed me!?

Tomato paste and I hate to say it, but douche. It worked on my dog when it got skunked once.

My brothers grad. party theme is "James Bond" and I'm dressing up as Jill Masterson from Goldfinger, who is painted gold all over and dies because her skin can't breathe. For the party I am only wearing a gold cocktail dress and painting my hair gold, but the spray makes it too stiff. How can I temporally dye it gold (my hair is a meduim brown) without it being permanant?

Why don't you just get a wig? Check to see if there is a costume place in your area or just go to a wig shop or two and try some on. Make sure you get a wig cap to protect your hair.

How can I temporally dye my hair gold?

I did see a make that i have never heard of which states they use the same plates as ghd and componants that are used in ghd and they also say they make these at the original ghd factory... but wait for it... They are only 鎷?4.95 (Thats in English pounds) you have to work out how many dollars that is if you are in Amercia ......... Here is the ebay website for these straighteners. take a look and let me know what you think...

Many Thanks Ann x

Ok this is my 4 th question on Hair straighteners. Has ANYONE ever heard of Jolie Hair straighteners??

Sorry I have never heard of Jolie products before. I have been doing hair (USA) for 15 years now. The brand I use and sell the most of are the Chi. If you are lucky enough to win one on e-bay make sure they have a return policy so if it isn't what you want you can send it back.

Ok this is my 4 th question on Hair straighteners. Has ANYONE ever heard of Jolie Hair straighteners??

I'm not really sure how well that straightener will straighten your hair. I personally prefer the Chi straightener. It isn't that expensive and I'm reallly glad I bought it. If you really want I'd say buy that straightener and see how it works. Thats your best bet.

Ok this is my 4 th question on Hair straighteners. Has ANYONE ever heard of Jolie Hair straighteners??

id go for it, if it says it has the same things then why not try it, whats the worst that could happen? it just might not be perfect.

"Sun in" doesn't so much bring out your natural highlights as it bleaches the **** out of your hair. A hairstylist friend of mine once compared it to putting straight peroxide in your hair.

Will this work with my hair?

I have to straighten my hair every day because naturally it is a bush. The problem is, is that it NEVER stays straight for the whole day (not even 1 class period). So I just bought Aussie Hairspray High Hold + Shine, and wonder if after straightening my hair in the morning, spray some in, and then brush it so it won't feel hard. Will that make it stay straight?

Will this work with my hair?

thats why i do with my hairspray. but my hair isnt that bad. just gets a little frizzy

Will this work with my hair?

If you brush it after you spray in hair spray it will make it really frizzy

Will this work with my hair?

Will this work with my hair?

Why is our British Short-hair that was sprayed 1 yr ago cat-calling again?

she shouldnt realy be calling she might just be copying other cats spaying does remove the urge to mate and is the correct term for neutering a female cat and only females call not males

Why is our British Short-hair that was sprayed 1 yr ago cat-calling again?

Probably because it should have been SPAYED, not SPRAYED.

Why is our British Short-hair that was sprayed 1 yr ago cat-calling again?

It sounds like you have a tom-cat, why did you spay instead of neutering? Mostly the males do the calling.

Why is our British Short-hair that was sprayed 1 yr ago cat-calling again?

If you are "fixed" it doesn't mean the urge is still there. There are obviously other cats still around and their scent is attracting your cat's attention. You just have to tolerate it.

What products should I use to get really SHINY hair??

*i have medium golden brown hair %26amp; my hair is down my back. i only wash it like 3 times a week so that helps, but I want my hair to be shiny like ice...so if you know any affordable hair products [ shampoo, conditioner, spray, etc ] %26amp; any tips plz help me out*thanx*

What products should I use to get really SHINY hair??

Biosilk Silk Therapy.

It is a shampoo, conditioner, and serum. I personally stick to my anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner and just use the serum. It has silicones in it so your hair looks like glass! Also it tames frizz and fly aways and moisturizes and doesn't look greasy. It truly is a wonder product!

Also wash out your conditioner in ICE COLD water. Try to do it in the sink so you don't get really cold! This seals the hair cuticle.

What products should I use to get really SHINY hair??

Pantene ProV Ice Shine.

I've never used it, but I've heard that it smells great and works good too :)

What products should I use to get really SHINY hair??

I have very wild hair and love a product called bio silk...I put a small bit on when my hair is wet and then again just after I dry it and I LOVE it!!

What products should I use to get really SHINY hair??

i use either suave or white rain

have you tried them??????

What products should I use to get really SHINY hair??

Citre Shine Shine Miracle is a great product. Just put a little bit on your palm then dab on clean damp hair. After styling, put on a little bit more to seal in shine and pevent frizzing. Smells great also.

Magic Panic Dye Hard Temporary Hair color and styling gel ?

i want to temporary dye my bangs purple and the dye says it holds and hardens the hair,i dont want it to hanrden my hair or whats a good temporary hair dye like a spray or somthing ?

Magic Panic Dye Hard Temporary Hair color and styling gel ?

it sucks, it totally stinks, i have a tube of the blue one, but it takes like a walnut size of it on a hair strand to make it look kinda blue.....and it feels and smells like if you took finger paint and put it in your hair, stiff and xtra dry..... the next wash it's all gone (thankfully), but everytime i barely touched my hair, my fingers got blue again, try it if u wanna, but it's definitely not good

Magic Panic Dye Hard Temporary Hair color and styling gel ?

KOOLAID!!!!!

Magic Panic Dye Hard Temporary Hair color and styling gel ?

Colorbombz, by...I forget. It's at Sally, and works so well, it even comes in platinum blonde. I sprayed my red hair blonde and it was SEX-AY. Haha. Hope this helps.

Magic Panic Dye Hard Temporary Hair color and styling gel ?

color pulse by loreal has a purple shade, and it washes out in 10 showers:

http://www.lorealparis.ca/en/haircolor/i...

Magic Panic Dye Hard Temporary Hair color and styling gel ?

purple hair dye

Magic Panic Dye Hard Temporary Hair color and styling gel ?

the guy who said kool - aid is right, i did it with out bleaching my hair, and it gave me a blue ish tint (cause i used blue kool aid) if you have dark hair, you might want to bleach it, if not, get purple kool aid, and mix it with conditioner until its pastey, and apply to your hair. It works (well, for me).

Magic Panic Dye Hard Temporary Hair color and styling gel ?

Manic Panic does not harden your hair, I used it for my blue and purple which you can see in this picture: http://a606.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/ima... . Manic Panic is the best funky color hair dye I've used, and Im a freelance hairstylist so I've worked with many, but now I stick to Manic Panic. You may have to redye after a week and a half or so cause it will fade some since it is semi-permanent, but that is with any funky color hair dye.

To those who've used sally hansen shower off hair removal .....?

im 13 and my madre wont let me remove any of my hair anymore unless i find some real good hair removal..when you spray it on does your hair really come off when you rinse it off? does it irritate your skin or anything or does it work perfectly fine? they say its the best hair removal ever made .does anyone know if theres something better ? haha THANKS[[:

To those who've used sally hansen shower off hair removal .....?

Don't use it

To those who've used sally hansen shower off hair removal .....?

I've used it, and I took it back the next day. First of all, it smells TERRIBLE, like a cheap self-tanner mixed with rotten eggs. Secondly, it doesn't work at all. Try a reliable cream, like Nair. Or, just simply wax.

To those who've used sally hansen shower off hair removal .....?

your hair comes off when you rinse it off.for a little while it will irritate your skin but after about an hour or two it goes away.the best way to get rid of unwanted hair is to use a machine that will pluck the hair out.the emjoi brand of hair removal systems works the best

Dieing my hair blue?

i want to die my hair blue. but only for one night. i want it to be EXTREMELY easy to get out, because i have school the next day and dont want to have blue in my hair! whats the best spray on product for this?

Dieing my hair blue?

If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply store or any Beauty supply store near you, go there. They will tell you exactly what you need. Hope this helps! :)

Dieing my hair blue?

just dont die it.

Dieing my hair blue?

Try a wig

Dieing my hair blue?

Ummm... O.k

DON"T DIE IT

it won't come out for weeks!

Dieing my hair blue?

depending on what colour your hair is, maybe a spray, or a mouse.. if your hair is blonde or red, the colour probably will stick to your hair, though if you have darker hair, it might wash out alot easier..

Dieing my hair blue?

they have tubes at wal-mart! that come out the next day

Dieing my hair blue?

In the party aisle of walmart they always have spray in hair color. I have used it and it comes out really easy, but if you want electric blue hair you may need to be willing to have for more than one night!

Dieing my hair blue?

It's not worth it! If it doesn't come out the next day you'll look like an idiot and what if u get smething that could damage your hair? Get a blue wig instead.

Dieing my hair blue?

ohh... um lets see.... Maybe you should just pour blue paint on your hair. heheh

Dieing my hair blue?

If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply store or any Beauty supply store near you, go there. They can tell you what you need, they helped me pick what to use when i died my hair pink. but of course we are diffrent we need diffrent stuff. so go there if you can.

Dieing my hair blue?

Hi,

There's a product available that look like powder. You can put it on your hair and later comb it off. Other alternative is to dye your hair back again to its' original color, when you've done with the other color

Help with scene hair?

Right now my hair is pretty wavy and plain. I'm going for a haircut/dye on sunday, and i'm after something like this:

http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u248/...

Haahaaa, it would look so rad if i could actually get it looking like that. How would i describe it to my hairdresser? I know that i want short, choppy layers and a fringe thats just above my eyes, but how would i describe the bleached part? Right now the best i can come up with is "I want it bleached, here, here and here". Lol (:

Also, have you guys got any suggestions in hairsprays? Ive tried to tease my hair, but after i spray it with my usual hairspray, it kinda goes back to its normal shape.

t.y! %26lt;3

Help with scene hair?

print off this exact picture and take it to your hairdresser.. they will know what to do.

as far as styling it, i tease mine right at the roots, then pull up the pieces and hairspray the heck out of them. i use "got2b" brand hairspray.. the one i use is called got2bsexy and its in a dark red can.

you can also use a hair "wax" or pomade on the ends to make them look piecey and straight. dont forget to flatiron your hair before styling so it is super straight!!

Help with scene hair?

umm bring a picture with you and jus show the person....

Help with scene hair?

bring the picture with your when you go to the salon and show it to your sytlist.

Help with scene hair?

you made me wish my hair was long again! print out the picture, i know everyone else has said that but its true. make sure the person knows they can do it and isnt just saying ' i can try' i just had a bad expirience with that today. took in the picture and guess what, nothing like what i wanted. if your lucky you will get someone who knows what they are doing. i agree 'Got2B' is a good brand for hairspray, i use got2b glued spiking freezing spray. your hair wont move and its great for getting big hair, and teasing. good luck with this!

Help with scene hair?

show the picture to your hairstylist
