Does wet hair or dry hair hold perfume better?

I spray perfume in my hair everyday, but I was wondering if spraying it on wet hair would make the smell last longer then spraying it on dry hair?

The chemicals in perfume are actually proven to dry out your hair. Try a scented hair mist instead, such as Wonderfleur Hair and Body Mist by meet mark. If you'd rather smell like the perfume you've been using, spray it on your clothes and/or pulse points instead (pulse points are wrists and behind each ear, your body heat will make the scent stronger) so you don't dry out your hair and cause breakage. Try using your perfume's matching body wash (if they make one) to give the scent more oomph. Hope that helps!

I actually spray my perfume into my hair dryer while I am drying my hair. I guess it gets both...lol

I would think applying it on the dry hair would be better. It seems like drying, styling products and styling tools would make the scent fade. I don't spray it in my hair. I usually apply it right at the base of skull into my hairline because thats where it gets warm.

but I figure the sent would be stronger if you spray it on dry hair...
