I have a play tomorrow night and I was thinking of bringing my hair straightener. Would this be okay? Or would the other girls' hair textures and sprays damage it? Just wondering. Thanks in advance! (By the way, it is a pretty big cast.)

The other girls hair textures really wouldn't hurt it. The flat iron is made to straighten many different hair textures. The sprays really wouldn't damage it unless they spray it exactly on the flat iron.
If any spray does get on it, when you get home just use a damp cloth to clean it.

It is really up to you... but you should consider the risks, someone might drop it, break it or even steal it! who knows!! You should take it with you to fix your hair and maybe borrow it to your close friends... plus I'm pretty sure other girls might bring their straightener and hair supplies....wish you the best of luck on your play!!!!!!!

It should be o.k.Just after the play and you bring it home make sure you wipe it down.

think its not a big prob. guess u and your friends r old n mature enough to take care of others' belonging.
yes u may use damp cloth to clean e mental plates. Its good for u to clean it once in a while too.

Alternative to straightening... If you have wild hair or curly hair. You might want to give mixed chicks a try (http://www.mixedchicks.net)
Their stuff works for me... makes my curls nice without chemicals or heat. I apply to wet hair and air dry.
