How do I keep my hair straight all day?

I use Herbel Essence's Dangerously Straight shampoo at night and dry my hair. When I get up, I straighten it with a flat iron and then use Herbel Essence's Dangerously Straight Finishing Spray. My hair stays straight for a couple hours but then it just gets wavy. Is there anything else I can do?!

i have wavy hair. i dont use any special shampoo for straightening. but i put straightening gel in my hair and some mouse right before i blow dry it (while it is still wet) then blow dry it, brush it out. then i section it in 3 parts. i split in half from ear to ear. because i have layered hair my bottom layers curl under more. so straighten those. then split the top half down the middle and straighten that. and then shake ur head to ur natural part and straighten it there once ur done. i noticed if i straighten to where it looks kinda straight... it only stays straight for a hour or so. but if i straighten it over and over it will stay longer. iuse the medium to hottest setting. it may look like little peices of straw but it will wear off after an hour or so look like that.

if u are in a humid humid place like florida (were i am) u may want to just go curly. it will keep u from drying out ur hair and its just easier. thats what i do during the summer.

and if u have to take a shower at nite and dont have time in the morning, just do all that i told u. then braid it into a loose braid that nite.a nd when u wake up straighten again.

I have very curly hair and I only use conditioner, no shampoo. It's keeps my hair from drying out and the conditioner weighs down my hair to prevent frizz.
