How do you use heat protection spray? Help! :-)?

If you are not blowdrying your hair and leaving it to air dry, do you apply the heat protection spray and leave your hair to dry with the spray in, and then flat iron it? Or do you spray it on fully air dryed hair before straightening?

If blowdrying how do you use it? Do you apply to spray to damp hair and then blow dry, then apply it again to dry hair before flat ironing?

Thanks,

what do the directions say? If it says to apply to damp hair, then apply to damp hair and style as desired. Either air dry and flat iron or blowdry then flat iron. Unless you have a flat iron that will straighten wet hair then make sure your hair is completely dry before you iron it or your hair will burn. What brand is it?

there are two kinds of methods you need to use

heat protection spray is for application before you blow dry which should be applied to towel damp hair and then blow dried

I would advise that you use a hair serum for the straightening tongs tohugh as this will give it a healthy shine and will protect it more than a spray.

My g/f's a hairdresser for Wella so ive been well schooled

I wash my hair, let it air dry...

Once its dry, piece your hair by sections (about 1-2 inches)

and spray your hair (1-2 sprays depending on the length)

THEN flat iron it... mine always comes out more sleek when I do it that way....

Good Luck

I put a wee bit on towel dryed hair before using a hairdryer, then when its all dry i put some more on before i straighten it.
