in all the hair commercials. The girls always have silky, flowing hair. my hair is always stiff, dry, and dull. I wash my hair every other day. and i use a protective spray on my hair before i straighten. Should i switch to a protective spray with a shine serum. any other ideas. The person with the most advice to treat my stiff, dry, and dull hair will get best answer

I have long hair and I really like it to be silky. There is a product that can be bought at the salon or a JC Penneys and it is called : BIOSILK. trust me on this and i will have you lookin like a pantene commercial. my hair is the same way. first you have to have a good flat iron like a chi or the "hardcore" from tigi. these irons do cost around 70-100$ but are well worth it and its the only way to get the look you want. they help to seal the cuticle as you slide down the hair. this helps it to shine and be softer. along with the flat iron you have to have a great spray i reccomend the "flat iron and shine spray" from tigi, its part of their S Factor line. the bottle is clear with a pink s on it and the lid is chrome looking. spray each section before you flat iron. you will see smoke when you hit the hair with the heat after spraying it. this is normal, its burning the oil and heating the hair. make sure that you have your temp on the flat iron on the hotter side, which means more than half way up. i keep mine on the hottest. i know this will help you and you will love it. you will probably spend around 100$ or so on all of this but you do get your moneys worth, great hair costs alittle cash. with both the flat iron and the spray your hair will be super soft and shiney and swing like a commercial. feel free to email me with any other questions. and enjoy the new look!

I'm sorry I dont have any idea of what product to purchase though I can tell you this: The hair commercials are edited. Do you really think those celebrities they use have such gorgeous hair? No way. They take the picture with a fan blowing it all around and then make it look so nice and silky and shiny. The products that they advertise like this do not do this to their hair. Same thing with all the skin commercials. But that's another story altogether.
