My hair feels rough after ironing it?

I just bought a chi hair iron....one of the best out there...and when i used it two days ago (with an iron guard spray), my hair felt so rough and funny. I actually have the natural black african hair but it came out straight. I just don't like the way it feels at all. Does anyone have some ironing tips!

use some anti-heat stufff, my friend has hair like urs and she used it nd said it did feel less roughh or just dont use that iron spray. i think you should use the anti heat cream instead of spray tho.

It's too dryed out.U should try a hydrating mask.That would surely help.I had the same problem and now I use, once a week, a hydrating mask from Avon, Planet SPA with olive oil.It works like a charm.

DONT USE THE IRON GUARD SPRAY! For your hair it is better to use old and light holding spray. Do that and that should help.
