What would be healthier for my hair: blowdry & straighten, airdry & straighten, or blowdry b

I'm not sure. My hair is thick, wavy and coloured / damaged from straightening it daily. I'm trying to have the least fried look possible. I currently use blonde expressions shampoo%26amp;conditioner, as well as a GOT2B deep conditioner. Then, I spray my hair with leave in conditioner %26amp; use CHI iron gaurd 44 spray after its dried (by blowdrying.) then i straighten it.

What is the best way for it? Should I leave it wavy %26amp; just straighten it in the morning, or should I just blowdry %26amp; straighten now?

(I asked if i should blowdry my bangs because they REALLY bother me when wavy.)

What would be healthier for my hair: blowdry %26amp; straighten, airdry %26amp; straighten, or blowdry bangs %26amp; straighten?

I have the same hair as you, thick, naturally curly/frizzy/wavy. I do it curly from time to time, but I really think that straight is sexy and so I straighten it most of the time. It is healthier for hair to air-dry, so if that is an option for you, then that would be better for your hair. If I let mine air-dry completely it is very difficult to get straight and frizz-free, so I usually let it air-dry part-way and then blow-dry it the rest of the way. It's good that you are using the iron guard spray, that helps protect your hair. If I were you, I would let it dry and straighten it in the morning, and blowdry your bangs if you need to in order to get them the way you like them. And don't wash your hair every day if that's possible. I wash and straighten every other day and that helps cut down on damage. Sometimes I even go three days and just put my hair in a pony tail with a cute headband on the third day. I do this if I don't have enough time to straighten (it takes over an hour for me to straighten my hair).

I would air dry..then straighten.

If you blow dryed your bangs..then they would become the most damaged part of your hair because of the length.

Shorter hair tends to become more damaged when heat is frequently used on it.

What would be healthier for my hair: blowdry %26amp; straighten, airdry %26amp; straighten, or blowdry bangs %26amp; straighten?

If your hair gets blowdried, this can really fry it, so normally that can be avoided, but if your hair is really thick and takes more than a half hour to straighten when un-blowdried, I would recommend just going ahead and blowdrying it, because it will do probably an unnoticable difference in damage and will take less time. That's always a factor to consider. if you take too long doing any of it, it will do more damage. i think that blowdrying and then straightening would be fine with the amound of conditioner you use...

What would be healthier for my hair: blowdry %26amp; straighten, airdry %26amp; straighten, or blowdry bangs %26amp; straighten?

air dry and straighten everyone loses 80 to 100 hairs a day, if you comb your hair out with a wide tooth comb when its wet, you will not risk breaking your hair, like with a brush.....make sure you start combing from the bottom and work your way up. take small sections to work with. then you can blow dry it or let it air dry. a spray leave-in conditioner will help with any tangles. a lot of people rip through their hair and wonder why its coming out, its because, by ripping through you are causing breakage....take your time and you will only see the whats supposed to come out. comb when wet, brush when dry or almost dry and you'll be fine. hope this helps. oh and air dry is healthier than blow dry any day! please pick me! i need to get to level 2 so bad!
