a) Right after the shower when your hair is wet?

b) Wait for your hair to dry and then put your hair in a braid?

c) Wait for your hair to dry, spray a little bit of water on your hair, and then braid??

When I do it I do it right after i get out of the shower. But I usually put curling gel in my hair before I actaully braid it. Then let it sit over night and your hair should be wavy/ curly.

If you mean for the crimpy hairstyle, then you want to wait for your hair to be a little more wet then damp and braid it into a ton of little braids, go to sleep with the braids in and then take out the braids when youve gotten dressed the next day. this hairstyle will make ur hair poofier though!
