What products can help your hair stay straightened?

I straightened my hair this morning, but now i's not straight! I mean...it's wavy, but not like how it ended when I finished. I do use a cheap hair straightner, but I can't get anything else and it does the job. So I'm wondering i there is some sort of spray or hair product that can help it stay straightened? I don't want it to turn my hair too stiff...but I want my hair to at least stay straight during the day for school when go back.

i use paul mitchell super skinny serum a dime when i get our of the shower and when its dry i divide my hair into sections and but a dab in each section before i straighten it ...... it protects your hair and gives it shine and it makes it stay for the whole day i used to have that same problem and one day it would be perfect and the next i did the exact same thing but it would come out frizzy and now i do the same thing and it comes out shine, silky, and frizz free! hope this helps! the bottle costs about 18 dollars but its worth every penny! hope this helps! good luck!!

To be honest with you there are plenty of products out there that say they will keep your hair straight, but i always find them to make my hair sticky and heavy. a nicer hair straightener definitely helps. But bumble and bumble makes good products...they have a straightening balm/gel. As long as you don't apply too much of it, it should not make your hair stiff...and apply it when your hair is still quite damp.
